Sometimes it’s necessary to keep things moving in a game or prevent one player from stealing the spotlight from others. To help with this we have a number of meta rules which are assumed to be in force unless the DM specifically allows an exemption.

Spell Tweaks link

  1. For One-shots (like Escape) Wish spell is one-time use per player
  2. Unless previously agreed with the DM Wish can only be used to:
    1. Duplicate a spell of 8th level or lower (with a casting time of 10 mins or less)
    2. Fully heal all living party members
    3. Resurrect all dead party members (to 1hp)
  3. Non-damaging Cantrips can be cast as a bonus action
  4. Pass Without Trace gives advantage on stealth checks (or +5, not +10)

Healing Buffs

  1. Healing potions always do maximum healing

Fair Gameplay link

  1. Racial traits (like Magic Resistance, Breath Weapon or Lucky) can only be used once per long rest (PB/2) but some ranges are increased – see Racial Tweaks for more detail.
  2. Flying creatures must make a constitution saving throw to stay airborne when damaged (similar to spell concentration)
  3. Limits to token numbers for certain game-types may be imposed to keep player turns quick.
