As usual rules have been tweaked this month for the new theme (Harry Potter 2) – check out D20 Chaos Rules for the current rule set.

Dark Souls

Players who have come and loved the Dark Souls mode will sadly have to take a small break from playing this mode set. For the time being, players cannot play Dark Souls Characters until an announcement has been made saying they are being brought back. This has nothing to do with the community or anything certain players have done, I just want to branch out with this mode and make it more fun.

If certain players want to play this mode then the whole table has to agree to all play this mode rather than merge it with the normal mode. It has been a very fun mode seeing all the creations that have been made but it needs a break because with the randomized nature there is always the possibility of being given something too complex that might hurt the party, cause an awkward power gap or somehow stop the table having fun. I am not archiving this mode or permanently banning it. I just simply want to have the community take a break from it for the time being until I can work out a few things. Thank you!

I am in the process of working out new difficulty models for the tables while also running alongside the normal and Dark Souls. So for a simple tease and to show. Here you go
